Bharatanatyam Curriculum
University AffiliatedOur Bharatanatyam syllabus follows the traditional Melattur style with focus on rhythmic precision (Laya), expressive storytelling (Bhava), and structural purity. Affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University, students take yearly theoretical and practical examinations to progress through standard grades.
Salangai Poojai
The initial major milestone. Once a student completes the study of all basic Adavus (steps), demonstrating correct posture and rhythm, they receive the Guru's recognition to perform in a dedicated ceremony, wearing the ankle bells (Salangai) for the first time.
Arangetram
The graduation milestone representing solo stage entry. Achieved after at least 8 years of rigorous training, learning complete Margam compositions, and demonstrating absolute mastery. It requires the Guru's formal approval and showcases the dancer’s endurance and artistic depth.
Carnatic Vocal Music
Bridge Academy AffiliatedOur Carnatic Music training is structured in tie-up with Bridge Academy, taking vocal students through a highly systemized 8-Grade syllabus. Training covers vocal exercises, pitch stabilization, rhythmic timing (Tala), and classical compositions from legendary vaggeyakaras.
Grades 1 & 2: Foundations
Focus on Sarali Varisai, Jantai Varisai, Dhattu Varisai, and Alankarams in multiple speeds with pitch maintenance.
Grades 3, 4 & 5: Intermediate
Introduction to Geethams, Swarajathis, and Lakshana Geethas. Understanding basic ragas and talas.
Grades 6, 7 & 8: Advanced Masteries
Varnams, complex Kritis in multiple ragas, and introductory Manodharma Sangeetham (creative improvisation).
Lite Music Curriculum
In-house Grade SystemOur Lite Music course is designed for students who want to explore light classical music, devotional songs, bhajan recitals, and popular film melodies. Under the training of Co-Founder Venkatesh Balakrishnan, students learn to control pitch, adapt to karaoke backing tracks, and master mic stage presence.
Vocal Modulation
Voice culture techniques adjusted specifically for light genres, handling soft transitions, range extensions, and vocal dynamics.
Stage Techniques
Microphone handling, body posture, managing stage fright, and coordination with backing tracks or live accompaniments.

Registration Guidelines
We welcome students of all age groups. Beginners are placed in the Pre-Grade foundational batches, while transfer students with prior dance/music experience will undergo a brief placement session to assess their corresponding grade level (Grades 1 to 8).
Note on fee deadlines: Fees are collected before the 10th of every month. Payments can be tracked directly from the parent dashboard, and receipts are generated instantly.
